People dress up like soldiers and act out the Battle of Puebla. They do not use bullets and cannonballs. Instead they toss f lowers at each other. They throw eggshells filled with confetti. Fireworks burst in the sky above Puebla’s forts. In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has become a big fiesta too.
